The small village festival

On Saturday, September 19, 2015, St-Paul-l’Ermite Parish celebrated "The Small Village Festival".

Delegated by the members of the Provincial Leadership Team, I, along with Sisters Jeanne Lebeau and Thérèse Boutin – both of whom had worked at St-Paul’s, attended this event.

Mr. François Longpré, a member of the Organizing Committee, was proud to welcome us and accompany us as we visited the various exhibits.

During this festival, the rebuilt "village school" gave us the opportunity to attend a school day, - circa "1936"

We felt very fortunate to revisit our SNJM history.

“By chance” in the exact location of our first school, which had burned down in 1943, we met two former students who were ten years old at the time of the fire in the school. They had many stories to tell us.
