102nd World Day of Migrants and Refugees
Sunday, January 17, 2016, the Church celebrates the 102nd World Day of Migrants and Refugees for which Pope Francis has chosen as the theme for prayer, reflection and his message: “Migrants and Refugees Challenge Us. The Response of the Gospel of Mercy”
The latest migrant disaster, in which thousands are scrambling to reach the EU, has brought more attention to the tragic issue of refugees trying to cross to Europe.
