Twenty-Five Years of Service

Ah! How the memories have accumulated by the Holy Names Sisters in Résidence
Marie-Rose since 1984!

June 14, 2009, all the Sisters who had lived in that house were invited to return, to relive memories and to celebrate with those who currently live there.

The warm welcome, the celebration of thanksgiving and gratitude in the chapel , a visit of the house, a sharing of memories and special buffet of delicious goodies were all part of this wonderful event.

Among the pioneers, 27 Sisters have gone home to God.  Among the 26 Sisters who have lived in this house at one time or another since 1984, 15 of them joined the 28 Sisters who presently live there, to share in the joy of this celebration.

Thank you to the Provincial Leadership Team who enthusiastically joined us.

Together we are proud of this successful pilgrimage throughout these past 25 years where we lived through joyful and difficult times.  There was always a great devotion to prayer and to the glory of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary under the watchful eye of Blessed Marie-Rose Durocher.
