9. August 2016 – The SNJM’s Passion Impacts Visitors

August 13, 2016 will remain in the annals with the resounding success of the many activities organized at the Congregational House in Longueuil.  The activities offered during the day were an informal historical talk with six panelists, attending  a concert, tours of the house, visits to the museum and to the exhibition of the archives, all organized as part of the cultural activities of Archeological Month. The visitors expressed their interest with enthusiasm.  Some wonderful moments

10. September 2016 – A Diversified and Stimulating Program for Maison Jésus-Marie

The Sisters at Maison Jésus-Marie are enjoying a diversified entertainment program. Enjoyment, Music and Beautiful Discoveries at Maison Jésus-Marie... In addition to the usual recreational activities, concerts and shows, the programming for the new year included a new series of gatherings entitled "Portrait of Women". The first sessions are a sign of good things to come.

11. October 2016 - Thought-provoking Activities for SNJM Anglophone Associates

At an Anglophone Associate Leadership Teams Planning Meeting for the new year, the leaders of the three groups of Anglophone Associates learned about the main points of the Chapter Acts so as to draw inspiration from them in the implementation of their annual program.

12. October 2016 - On the Way to a Spirituality of Welcome

Members of the SNJM Provincial Leadership Team organized an inspirational gathering under the theme "Opening Doors ... There was dialogue in reference to the last General Chapter and a new year focusing on the theme "spirituality of welcome".

13. October 2016 – A Show of Solidarity

There is no age limit to expressing solidarity and doing missionary work, as was demonstrated by thirty talented knitters at the missionary exhibition held at Maison Jésus-Marie. After the exhibition, all the knitted pieces were donated to people in need. A successful experience of missionary solidarity

14. November 2016 – Mother Marie-Rose, an Inspirational Figure

Mother Marie-Rose is one of the inspirational figures who have been chosen to inspire today’s catechists. This initiative of the Council of Evangelization and Christian Life (CEVC) of the Assembly of Quebec Bishops (AEQ) brought together in a document, the history of these great personages: Jean de Brébeuf, Marguerite Bourgeoys, Marie de l'Incarnation , Élisabeth Turgeon, Marie-Rose Durocher and Adolphe Chatillon.

15. December 2016 – Setting Out to Discover Indigenous Peoples

The year 2016 enabled us to live out some rewarding moments through meetings with Indigenous Peoples including the Abenakis as a part of the activities organized by the Association of Women Religious for Women’s Rights (ARDF). 

16. December 2016 – How to Better Live Advent and Be Filled with the Spirit of Christmas 

Two days of reflection on the theme "Stand up! Keep watch", were organized to prepare to live out Advent 2016. Besides the reflection on the true meaning of Christmas “Stand up! Keep watch.” or how to stay focused on mission...there were four choral performances, organized at Maison Jésus-Marie, for everyone’s pleasure. It was a wonderful way to become immersed in the joyful atmosphere of Christmas.
