Thanksgiving Celebration

The teaching staff and students of l’Externat Mont-Jésus-Marie gathered together at the Parish of St-Albert-le-Grand for a combined celebration of the Feasts of Mother Marie-Rose on October 6th and Thanksgiving on November 13th.

Madame Sylvie Gagné, director general, had extended an invitation to several SNJM’s as well as to Fr. Descôteaux OP to attend this celebration.  “The staff and the 400 students are highlighting today, the love that continues for Mother Marie-Rose.”

Sr. Simon Couillard, dressed as Mother Marie-Rose, along with the ten SNJM guests made the celebration a truly happy event for the young people.

Madame Diane Lavasseur, pastoral agent, masterfully prepared this celebration, during which many experienced a sense of gratitude.  We all joined in singing, “Je Mets Ma Confiance”, accompanied on the piano by Madame Sylvie Quinn, the director of pedagogy.

The prayer intentions and the presentation of symbols emphasized an openness and special attention to today’s world.

Thank you Mother Marie-Rose
Ever alive among the youth you love so much.
