Harpissimo where art conveys a vibrant cultural tradition

Once again, the "Harpissimo-Quebec Ensemble" delighted its audience during its recent visit to Maison Jésus-Marie on May 28th. Performing both traditional pieces from various sources, works from well-known artists such as "J’ai souvenir encore” by Claude Dubois and "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen or again, from their own creative works, the group presented an unforgettable show.

Founded in 1996, the ensemble’s mission is to educate, develop and make members as well as the general public aware of the traditional harp as a musical instrument and a vibrant cultural tradition. Under the direction of Robin Grenon and Gisèle Guibord, Harpissimo presents numerous concerts during the year, including the one at Maison Jésus-Marie. The latter has now become a must in the programming by the Recreation Committee for Maison Jésus-Marie.
