Cathedral Tapestry in Longueuil (La Robe-Cathédrale)

Until September 4th, Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Co-Cathedral welcomes, beneath its dome, the work of Carole Simard-Laflamme, entitled "La Robe-Cathédrale". This work is making its first stop in Quebec, after having been displayed in many other places during the past ten years. Presented in collaboration with the Museum of Civilization, in Quebec City, it symbolizes the 12 stages of life. 12 superimposed rows of eight sections of fabric are intertwined in various colors, from white to red. It is a spectacular work that leaves no one feeling unmoved. For more details.
