The 2011 General Chapter

The General Chapter, a collegial body, while in session, is the highest authority for all religious Congregations. It is held every five years in our SNJM Congregation. This event marks the rhythm of our lives both through preparing for it and through the follow-up which stems from it.

Summer 2011 is rapidly approaching. Already the entire SNJM family, sisters and associates, through meetings, as well as, via a forum on the internet, have been invited to elaborate and develop apostolic and spiritual priorities, to discuss them, to expand on them, to refine them, to pray, to closely examine their impact and their influence on our life and on that of the diverse ecclesial and social milieus with which we are associated.

With the help of the elected delegates, we will be given the chance, in the coming months, to respond to the work that has been undertaken and to specify the direction which we will put forth for July 2011.

May the Holy Spirit keep us on the path set forth by Blessed Marie-Rose Durocher, our foundress!
