Carolling at Maison Jésus-Marie

SNJM Sisters and Associates carolling at Maison Jésus-Marie

On Saturday, December 11, a group of English- and French-speaking Sisters and Associates gathered in the chapel of Maison Jésus-Marie for an hour of carolling with the Sisters of Saint-André and Saint-Charles. For a good number of years the English-speaking Sisters and Associates have been involved in this activity.

It was a wonderful experience of interdependence, solidarity and community to have French-speaking Sisters and Associates taking part this year. It was also a great boon to the singing and helped to cover up the English accents for the French carols!

Following the singing, all gathered in the cafeteria for an abundant and delicious collation.

May the joy which is given to others enter the hearts of those who give.

May this festive season when Jesus is born anew bring peace to the world.
