St. Valentines’s Day

Sunday, February 13, 2011, the Sisters at the Congregational House gathered on the 5th floor to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day.  Sister Françoise Lanthier and Sister Monique Gemme organized this gathering with lots of care and love.

Tables were set up to play cards, appropriate to this celebration, whereby hearts were always trump.  Lots of laughter and fun!  The winner at each table received a huge bag of gifts which she then generously shared with the others in her group.

This party began with a prayer centered on the theme and ended with  decadent refreshments : chocolate fondue with delicious fruits and bite-sized pieces of a light cake.

This moment helped to strengthen bonds and also gave everyone an opportunity of leaving their work aside for a short time.

May the love felt during this celebration extend to each Sister in the Congregation.
