It is the closing of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Marie-Rose Durocher. Having begun at Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, the public celebrations ended in the same place on October 16th with a solemn Mass at the Parish of St-Antoine, followed by a delicious sit-down meal at the Community Centre.
In his homily, Bishop François Lapierre, Bishop of the diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe, presented a portrait of Mother Marie-Rose and summarized in two points the message which she leaves to us: place all our confidence in God so as to produce fruit and be creative so as to find answers to the needs of today.
