September 24th, The Sisters and Associates of the SNJM Quebec Province gathered at Maison Jésus-Marie in Longueuil. Meeting for the first time since the General Chapter that had been held in July, we were reminded of the three main themes worked on at the Chapter: charism and spirituality; mission with a focus on both education and justice and lastly, interdependence.

Those who worked on the various service committees shared their experience and what they received from the Chapter.

The gathering ended with a time of prayer which incuded prayers of thanksgiving, a reading from the Word of God and intercessory prayers, followed by a  missioning ritual by the members of the Province Leadership Team.

Mother Marie-Rose was present with all of us at the beginning of the year where “we desire to do the best we can with what we have and who we are.”
