The School of Yesteryear 1860-1960, now in book form

A book, with the same title, as the "Exhibition:The School of Yesteryear 1860-1960" currently being presented at the Château Dufresne (in French only), has just been published by the "editions Presses de l'Université du Québec".

Just as with the exhibition, the book guides the readers to school benches before the Quiet Revolution. One hundred years of history are related through the presentation of Quebec’s educational heritage. The authors, Robert Cadotte and Anik Meunier, go beyond what the exhibition presents. It is a fascinating read with an astonishing photo gallery!
