Declaration by Mme Marie Malavoy

On October 18, 2011, Mme Marie Malavoy, deputy for Taillon, paid tribute to Marie-Rose Durocher in the Quebec National Assembly. To highlight the 200th anniversary of her birth, Mme Malavoy emphasized her renowned contribution to Quebec society and elsewhere in the world. "The founding of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary has provided quality education to a large number of children."
