ROJeP Meeting

Le Réseau œcuménique justice et paix (The Justice and Peace Ecumenical Network) held its last meeting at the Musée des Abénakis in Odanak, on Native land. This was a first.

The gathering was held on the occasion of World Water Day on March 22nd and Sister Claudette Bastien, head of the Groupe Solidarité-Justice, attended.

This Quebecois network, which brings together Christian groups from different denominations that are committed to justice, peace and the integrity of creation, held a reflection on the ethical, cultural and spiritual concept of the territory under the theme: “Spirit and territory”.

The ROJeP has two members who are part of the Quebec delegation which will go to the People’s Summit, a meeting parallel to those of the United Nations in Rio.

ROJeP is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year
