A Surprise Visit! ...

After supper, some of the Sisters on holiday at our house in Val Morin, go for a walk on the bicycle path and occasionally have some pleasant encounters ... But this evening, what a surprise!  Absolutely exceptional visitors!

A flock of Canada geese were in the process of having their evening meal near our dock! ... During this summer season, we had time to admire this unusual spectacle as they were eating.  I counted twenty-five of them quietly treating themselves ... and Gaby took some pictures.

This contemplation would not last ... Suddenly, with a signal inaudible to us, the   magnificent birds left their “table” and swam gently, crossing the lake in the direction of the Rivière du Nord...

But oh! Surprise!  Seven of them (rebels?) no doubt unsatisfied, came back to eat in front of the neighboring house...and after a few minutes, we lost sight of them because of the foliage...

Clearly, the Lord had not finished surprising us, filling us with wonder!
