A Tribute to Sister Louise Danis

On January 11, 2013, Sister Louise Danis, S.N.J.M., received a certificate of merit from l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (Quebec Order of Nurses and Auxiliary Nurses) for her 39 years of dedication to people, to the promotion of health and to the profession of auxiliary nurses.

In serving the sick Sisters at the SNJM Motherhouse, at Résidence Ste-Émélie and at Maison Jésus-Marie, Sister Louise has deepened within herself the meaning of suffering and has discovered a source of spiritual nourishment in this ministry. Because of her experience in this field, for two years she was in charge of buying supplies for the infirmary of the Sisters of Providence, in Cartierville.

Tenderness and compassion mark the achievements of this woman who joyfully contributes to alleviating the suffering of others.

Many thanks to Sister Louise for her professional responsibility and her availability in continuing to serve her Sisters at Résidence Marie-Rose-Durocher.

CONGRATULATIONS, SISTER LOUISE
