100 Years Old Already!

On October 9th, at Maison Jésus-Marie, there was a 100th birthday celebration for Sister Marguerite Hallé.

She herself had chosen the Entrance Hymn for the Eucharist: "Que tes œuvres sont belles!" That says it all! Love life; love it still, even in spite of severe disabilities.

Here is an excerpt from the tribute which Sister Jacqueline Boudreau, animator, paid to her:

“Time has gone by quickly...and I have been so happy!”  Such are the feelings which you expressed to me last week. You have developed clear-sightedness, an inner vision, a serenity which you convey today through the simplicity of your daily life.

Our wish is that you live the present moment deeply with a new sense of timelessness. May time be your friend. It shows the fullness of your life, its maturation…

With the whole Community,
let us celebrate God’s wonders
fulfilled in Sister Marguerite!
