Go into the Whole World

On October 20, 2013, World Mission Sunday, the Church invited us to open our hearts to the parameters of the world so as to support the work of missionaries who are sent out to the four corners of the world.

At Maison Jésus-Marie, this event was highlighted in a special way during the Eucharist.

A visual represented the crafts of Africa, Brazil, Haiti, Japan and Peru where our Sisters are still present.

The Prayers of the Faithful invoked the help of the Spirit to sustain the work of missionaries who came here from foreign lands.

May the Spirit also support the gift of our Sisters presently working in the missions, those returning to our country and all the members of our community.

Our solidarity with our Sisters in Lesotho, represented by the presence of Sister Gisèle Foucreault, was made concrete by the offerings as well as an exhibition of knitted articles made by our Sisters at Maison Jésus-Marie.

These are ways of living out a mission of Love inspired by the Breath of the Spirit.
