Sister Laurianne Drapeau

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast”. Ps.57

August 18, 2014, Sister Laurianne Drapeau,
in religion Lise-de-Notre-Dame
went home to God.

She was 85 years old and had been professed for 62 years.

Born in East Angus, Estrie, Quebec, on August 1, 1929,
she was the eldest of the four children
of Omer Drapeau and Rose-Anna Giguère.

At Sister Laurianne’s request, there will be no written obituary but, with her, we can thank God for the various gifts and very special graces with which He showered her during her eighty-five years of life on earth, sixty-two of which were consecrated to service in the SNJM community.
Thank you, Sister Laurianne, for your time with us. With you, we can sing: “My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and make melody"! Ps. 57
