Our Knitters on Parade...

This year, on World Mission Sunday, the Sisters from Maison Jésus-Marie put their talents together to provide warmth for street people and for people in Lesotho.

How inspiring it was to see what all of these nimble fingers had knitted: tuques of all shapes and colors, scarves and mittens, as well as 9 X 9 inch squares for Sister Gisèle Foucreault’s young students  to stitch together to make blankets and ponchos.

So, one day, if you have some free time and you want to send me something  which you yourself have knitted, I know exactly the right place to send it.

Our exhibition consisted of items created by 22 SNJM’s, 3 other women and 2 men, all of whom understood the message:

Knitting for others
is sowing seeds of love
