Sister Hélène Denoncourt

“I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.” Ps. 27(26)

November 11, 2014, Sister Hélène Denoncourt
in religion Sister Hélène-Yvonne
went home to God.

She was 94 years old and had been professed for 71 years.

Born in Quebec on March 17, 1920, she was the youngest of the three children
of Louis Denoncourt and Yvonne Biron.

We respect the choice of Sister Hélène who preferred not to have a written chronology. However we would like to thank her for her seventy one years of service rendered to the Community, particularly in the field of music in which she especially used her talents, and we praise the Lord for all the graces with which He filled her life during her ninety four years on earth. May Jesus and Mary joyfully and lovingly welcome her into the “Eternal home where she is already beholding the Lord’s beauty.”
