Prayer for Combating Human Trafficking

A torchlight procession and prayer vigil has been organized for Friday, February 6, at the Basilica of the Twelve Holy Apostles in Rome, to prepare for the First International Day of Prayer and Reflection against Human Trafficking which will be celebrated on Sunday, February 8, the feast of Saint Josephine Bakhita.

The initiative “Light a Candle against Human Trafficking” will notably involve the participation of many of those in charge of the departments from the Roman Curia. The evening will begin with a presentation about this international day against human trafficking, and will be followed by reflection and the lighting of candles for a torchlight procession.
