Nuns, in the forefront of the fight against the trafficking of women and children

(RV) Interview – From January 25th to the 31st, 2016, Rome hosted an international meeting against the trafficking of women and children, organized by the International Network of Consecrated Life against Trafficking in Persons.

A network entitled "Talitha Kum" which, in Aramaic, means "stand up", was started in 2009. Some twenty nuns from the Philippines, Brazil and Burkina Faso made the trip to the Eternal City to attend this meeting.
