The Blù Bamboo Ensemble, with their strings and woodwind instruments presented a dynamic musical program during their performance on October 9, at Maison Jésus-Marie.
In addition to the pieces by Joseph Haydn, Eric Satie and Jacques Offenbach, the musicians presented among other things, a suite from the film "Fiddler on the Roof", a pot-pourri of Edith Piaf’s songs and Félix Leclerc’s "Bozo".
For this special performance, the group that usually performs with two or more musicians, included violinist Geneviève Parent, Cynthia Viel and Caroline Plamondon (oboe players), Dostie-Poirier Gabrièle (bassoonist), Nicolas Croze (viola) and Nicolas Cousineau (cellist), who is the son of the illustrious teacher who created the movement "Les petits violons de JC”. The Ensemble also relies on the contribution of cellist Vincent Fournier-Boisvert, who was absent from this performance.
