It is not every day that the spectators at a concert can find themselves in such close proximity to the musicians. This is what happened on October 30th during the concert with Lyse Archambault, violinist and Pierre-Paul Gamet, cellist.
The two musicians played numerous pieces of music from a popular repertoire, on each of the three floors in the Saint-Charles Pavilion of Maison Jesus-Marie. The goal was simple: to awaken the interest of the Sisters and to encourage them to hum along. The intimate atmosphere and the enthusiasm created by presenting well-known music was rewarding for those who attended.
Bringing the concert to an end, Lyse Archambault played a "reel" from yesteryear to the clapping of hands and the tapping of feel…what a sight to behold the broad smiles on all the faces!
