An action which makes a difference!

Collège Durocher-Saint-Lambert

Since August, 2015, the procedures for allocating technological tools have been modified by the Ministry of Teaching and of Higher Education. The College has thus learned that private educational institutions now have the responsibility to ensure that students who are experiencing difficulties have quick access to computers with programs that meet their needs.

To ensure that the students concerned continue to have access to this service, the College worked quickly to acquire 28 laptops and charging stations that are now available to students in Secondary 1and 2 who are experiencing learning difficulties.

These state of the art devices are equipped with software to help the students with reading and writing, and can be used both at school and at home. Our students and their parents are very happy to have these resources at their disposal to support them in their learning.

This acquisition was made possible through the financial support of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. On behalf of each student, we thank wholeheartedly the SNJM’s for this generous contribution which will certainly make a difference in the academic progress of our young people.

Thank you to the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, educators for life!
