In January 2010, following the completion of some interior work in the Parish of St. Arsène, in Montreal, Fr. José Vieira Arruda, the pastor, asked Sr. Julienne Lessard, one of the wardens, for a statue of Mother Marie-Rose.  He felt it was important that she be known and honoured by the parishioners and members of the Hispanic community of Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila.

Fr. Arruda had already reserved a place for the new statue between those of St. Marguerite d'Youville and St. André Bessette located in the nave on the left side of the church. He felt it was fitting for Mother Marie-Rose to be in the church, since the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary have lived and worked in this parish since 1982.

After visiting various houses of the Congregation, Sr. Julienne Lessard finally obtained the gift of a 21'' wooden statue, created by Sr. Jeanne Bois snjm. A plaque has also been requested to identify the statue.

Fr. Arruda was jubilant when he received the statue in early July 2010. It was quickly placed between the other two Canadian saints. The plaque is yet to be installed.
