The Team of Directors at the Pensionnat St-Nom-de-Marie (an SNJM Boarding School) really wanted the students, upon their arrival, to get to know the origins of the foundation of their school. In Quebec the Ethics and Religious Culture Program which has, as one of its sections: “to become familiar with Québec religious heritage” provided the possibility of making known the work of Mother Marie-Rose, who had initiated a plan for education in the 19th century.
At the invitation of Professor Alain Bourgeois, who was responsible for the course, I accepted, for the third year, to meet six (6) groups of Secondary 1 students. This year, I presented the video EULALIE, which was written and produced by Madame Céline Labonté, the Pastoral Animator at PSNM in the year 2000.
The author emphasized the life journey, the presence in the world, the spirituality, the faith of Marie-Rose Durocher and her compassionate commitment to all.
