Hélène Harvey shares
Since her profession day, Hélène has wanted to share her great joy. Several local communities invited her: Albani, Sainte-Émélie, Val Morin, Winnipeg . . .
This evening, May 16th, the Congregational House in Longueuil welcomed this woman who is full of energy and determination, and filled with an apostolic fervour. Who else could stir up the glowing embers under the ashes?
Like her friend Zacchaeus, Hélène heard the call to come down from her tree. She explains: descend from your hospital, heeding the call to “Come follow me” in order to continue taking care…with audacity.
A period of time spent in Haiti “bowled her over” to the point that she wanted to return as soon as possible. It is with great hope in the future that this newly professed Sister shared the profound moments of her profession ceremony with us. The Magnificat at this time of year reminds us of the many years of religious profession being celebrated by our jubilarians.
