A Celebration of Fidelity

On Sunday, September 18, 2011, a Celebration of Fidelity for couples celebrating anniversaries with multiples of five, was held in our church. Sister Élisabeth Gravel, who belongs to our residence in Val Morin, and who is celebrating her Golden Jubilee this year and Sister Cécile Coîteux, who is celebrating her 60th anniversary, were part of this celebration.

After the couples renewed their vows, our two Sisters were invited to go up into the sanctuary, and facing those gathered there, they renewed their vows. This very moving celebration was followed by a light luncheon for all the parishioners of the Christian Community of Saint Norbert.

The comments heard at the end of Mass and during the luncheon were full of praise for the local "Comité d'Action" of which I am an active member. This gathering was very promising for the future.
