Friday BBQ’s at Maison Jésus-Marie

Since the beginning of July, activities have taken on a summer flavor at Maison Jésus-Marie. Sisters from Saint-André Pavilion, as well as those from the different floors of Saint-Charles Pavilion were treated to their own version of a "BBQ" menu, taking into account their specific needs.

The idea put forth by the Recreation Committee was to change the routine and bring about a little summer atmosphere. And so, each in turn, the residents of the 3rd floor and then the 2nd and 1st floors of Saint-Charles Pavilion were treated to their "Friday BBQ" indoors or outdoors on July 7, 14 and 21. Then, on July 28th, the residents of Saint-André Pavilion had their own BBQ.

With the collaboration of head chef Jacques Jodoin and his assistant Daniel, Sisters Maryse Moisan and Gisèle Lalande, from the Recreation Committee, coordinated these days with Sister Réjeanne Foucreault’s invaluable input. As a volunteer for several years, Sister Réjeanne is always there to lend a helping hand.

These special days have filled hearts with pleasure and joy; and, as an added bonus the Sisters are fully benefitting from summer.
