Day of Recollection January 24th at Maison Jésus-Marie

According to the activities planned by the spiritual animation committee, the second day of recollection will be held during the Week of Christian Unity. On this occasion, Mrs. Gwenda Wells, pastor of an Anglican Church will share her perspective of faith under the theme of “Who is God?”

The day of recollection will be held Thursday, January 24th beginning at 11:00 with the weekly Celebration of the Word. Mrs. Wells will give her presentation at 2:30.  She grew up in Alma, Quebec, in the area of Lac Saint-Jean. When she was about ten years old, her parents sent her to a school run by the CND’s (Congregation of Notre Dame) to help perfect her French.

She has been a theology professor at McGill University. As a member of the Ecumenical Council of the Diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil, Mrs. Wells was pastor for a period of time at Saint Barnabus Anglican Parish in Saint Lambert, before her retirement.

This second day of recollection should be very interesting.  Everyone is welcome to attend!
