Hospitality "Par Excellence"

On June 11th, I had the opportunity of going to our residence in Val Morin with a group of 32 men and women.  Many of the men in this group had not been outside the city in a few years.

Each of us enjoyed a beautiful day walking on the trail along Lake Raymond, riding in the pedal boats and sharing a community meal.  We brought our lunches and the Sisters of the house provided soup and coffee.  They also graciously answered our many needs.

One person needed a fork, another needed to use the microwave and a third forgot his jar of mayonnaise. Since there were mosquitoes “en masse” that day, a sister graciously provided “Insect Repellent”.   And believe it or not I needed a hat and two others needed towels.

I am so proud of our Sisters in Val Morin and their welcoming presence.  What a wonderful ministry!
