A Tribute Given in Ottawa

The interview

On October 16, 2014, during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the "Centre de services à la famille" in Ottawa, I was given the honour of presenting to Sister Lorraine Mongeon and Sister Monique Thériault the result of my work entitled:

"Brève histoire d'une oeuvre collective"
Centre de services à la famille,
    un écrin de bonheur ...
une source de vie!

("A brief history of a collective work" - Centre for familyservices, a treasure chest of happiness ... a source of life!)

This modest history was written at the request of my collaborators in this work to which I dedicated more than twenty-five years of my life. With great joy, I agreed to their wish to write a report on the achievements of these years, in the form of personal anecdotes, programs developed and events.  It is a way of preserving the memory of the faithful and generous commitments of more than two thousand volunteers. I would like to thank each one for her/his unique role, which was invaluable and incomparable to what the “Centre de services à la famille” has accomplished.

What I have become over the years, I owe to each of you, Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary who, throughout these years have accompanied me in one way or another. That is why it gives me great pleasure today to present this document which tells the story of my 26 years in Ottawa.

I return home with a heart full of gratitude and happiness.

Micheline Beaulne, S.N.J.M.

CONGRATULATIONS, MICHELINE,
FOR THIS MAGNIFICENT WORK OF EDUCATION!
