Mrs. Nancy Lou Cutts 1923-2014

At the grand age of 90 years Nancy Cutts went to her Lord  on September 25th 2014 at  Hôtel Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke. She was the widow of Reverend Montague Cutts. She was a wonderful lady, devoted to helping others in word and deed. An only child, she had a happy childhood with her parents Frank and Gladys Simpson in Montreal. She joined the Air Force at eighteen to serve her country and loved her work as a wireless operator.

For forty years she accompanied her husband Monty in the service of the Anglican Church in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick where she devoted her time to serving others. After retirement the two moved to Nanaimo and later to Prince George to be closer to their two boys David and Stephen. There she made many friends and; continued to serve her neighbour. Following thedeath of her husband. she came back to, Quebec with her daughter Judith andlived her last years with courage and humility and always in generous service to her family, her many friends and others.

She will be greatly missed by her children Judith(Richard),  David, Steve(Sylvie); her grandchildren Daniel(Chantal), Erik(Amanda), Marie-Chantal, Robyn, her great-grandson Ayen, other relatives and many friends.

The funeral to celebrate her life was at 11 a.m. on October 2nd at Notre-Dame-du-Perpétuel-Secours(Sherbrooke). Burial will take place in Montreal on October 3rd.
